Quick Yin Flow

Do you struggle with finding time for your yin yoga practice? Or are you new to the practice, and want to ease into it slowly…. then here´s a 20 minute sequence for you!

  1. Dragonfly
  2. Square
  3. Caterpillar
  4. Twisted roots

Start with resting in Dragonfly 4 minutes against the wall.
Slowly ease out of the pose by bringing your legs together, pulling your knees to your chest, and rolling over to your right side on the floor. Stay here for a few moments.

Come up to a seated Square pose, choosing which leg you prefer to start with. Stay for 3 minutes, and slowly shift leg.

After Square pose, stretch both your legs out in front of you. Relax and fall into Caterpillar pose. Stay 4 minutes as you stretch your spine. After 4 minutes, slowly roll up, and roll all the way down to resting on your back.

Fall into Twisted roots, 3 minutes, and shift side.

When you´re done, rest on your back for a few moments. Feel the ease and peace in your body and mind.

I hope you find this quick sequence suitable. Don’t hesitate to ask for help if you struggle with finding your pose.
