Can you train yourself into being comfortable in the uncomfortable? Yes, you can. And yin yoga can support you with that in many ways.

Resting in yin yoga poses looks easy, but I assure you, it´s not. Learning how to be still in a yin yoga pose is nothing but easy when sensations starts to arise. Physical, mental and emotional sensations arise, and instead of acting out on these sensations and feelings (which a lot of us do in our daily lives, right) you learn how to be with it – feeling it – without acting on it. This has so many benefits an athlete can bring into training and competition, as well as the daily life outside the sport. Dealing with emotions in sport AND life in general is something we all do. And we can do it good.
